V.H. Folland is a British author with a lifelong interest in aviation and engineering. On a school trip to Kew Gardens most of the class were looking at the plants, and one small child was staring up at the planes on Heathrow approach. A career spanning media, technology and engineering gave this interest plenty of time to grow. Along the way, a spare hour in the day was found to write books.

My Review

This isn't a genre that I generally read, but I was pleasantly surprised overall. It started off with excitement, and as it progressed it got a little slower and then picked back up toward the end. The author made a few spelling and grammar errors here and there, but letting that slide - I found myself deeply immersed in this novel! 

One aspect of the book that I really enjoyed was how every chapter related to drowning / water. And the last sentence in the book was a perfect ending. 

There were some moments where I found myself mildly confused about who someone was, but the author later explains who they are. There are plenty of twists and turns that keep you wondering until the very end. The protagonist, Karo, was an interesting character to get to know - she has had plenty of hardships and some of them I could relate to, making me feel even closer to her. 

And, on a side note, there was a cat - being a cat lover, that was a bonus ;)

I have spent more time than I'd like to admit searching for an appropriate, fully-functioning template that fits all of my desires :x

To begin with, I can be very blunt with my opinions but I will try not to be harsh. I will, however, be openly honest and if I do not like your book, I will say so in a polite manner and provide my reasons. I am strictly only accepting young adult books. As far as formats go, I much prefer .mobi but am willing to accept whatever you have to available. I cannot guarantee a time frame of when my review will be ready, but I will try to have them done within a week of receiving the book - but keep in mind that I have a life outside of reading :] If anyone wants to send me their book in exchange for an honest review, don't hesitate to send it my way!

Also, keep in mind that I would before there to be as little erotica / sexuality as possible.

I am more than happy to accept independently published work!
